Remember Remember - Personal And Home Security Advice For Bonfire Night

Now that Halloween is done and dusted, Bonfire Night is only round the corner!

Whether you’re putting on a show in your back garden or heading out to a professional display, follow our tips on home and personal security to make sure you remember, remember for the right reasons.


🎆Lock doors and windows, even if you’re in the garden

🎆 Leave a light on if you’re heading out for the evening

🎆 Hide keys out of sight away from letterboxes

🎆 Set your house alarm and switch on any outdoor lighting

Fireworks (including sparklers) must not be:

  • Set off in the street or other public places

  • Set off between the hours of 11pm and 7am, or after midnight on Bonfire Night. (1am for New Year's Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year).

  • Fireworks must not be sold to under 18s.
