We received two reports of ‘distraction’ type burglaries on Saturday 1 June, likely to be linked. The first offence was in High Street, West Molesey at around 11am.
Two males attended an address and one of the males asked the occupant to look at their garden fencing together, while the second suspect managed to surreptitiously enter the property and steal cash and a computer.
The second similar offence, occurred in Russell Road, Walton, at around 12pm. Again, two males and a story about a fence. On this occasion the males were more assertive in nature, entered the property, but left empty handed. Male one was a white male, 5’6” tall, of slim build, with blonde hair and he was wearing baseball cap and a reflective jacket. This male spoke with an Irish accent. Male two, also white, of similar height and build had black curly hair, was dressed in casual clothing and was described as speaking with an English accent.
